Constant Rate Descender Devices (CRD)
The Ikar Constant Rate Descender is a highly-effective tool for safely loading and lowering users to ground floor level at a constant rate speed of between 0.9 – 1.5 metres per second.
It is also widely used as a casualty rescue system together with a ratchet mechanism, providing excellent rescue capabilities for emergency evacuation from a height.
It can be used by 1 or 2 people and with a variety of different rope lengths starting at 10m.
