Overview

The Working at Height - Competent Worker course is valid for 3 years and is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to work safely at height. Delegates will understand how to use and select appropriate working at height equipment and perform periodic inspections of PPE in order to meet the requirements of a competent worker. Our Competent Worker course teaches specialist knowledge of safe working practices, rescue plans and techniques.

  • Donning/correct fitting of harness and sub-components (PPE)

  • Prolonged harness suspension/suspension syncope - symptoms
