Our Heartstart programme provides people and communities with the opportunity to understand, learn and practice basic life support skills and improve their confidence and levels of competency, should there ever be a requirement to administer first aid in the event of a real life situation.
This community based basic life skills training project has been delivered over the past 12 years to various organisations, businesses and local community interest groups throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire & Lincolnshire.
John Armson, Emergency Services Manager, HFR Solutions CIC comments “The objective of the Heartstart programme has always been to provide as many people as possible within our communities with simple skills that save lives. It really helps to engage with local communities, bringing people together from different backgrounds in order to learn basic life support skills. This training has been successfully delivered to communities throughout Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire such as Beverley, Brigg, Crowle, Epworth, Scunthorpe and Winterton to name but a few.”
