Entries for the 2017 Offshore Achievement Awards, run by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and TAQA, will open on October 3rd, with companies and individuals in the industry now being invited to share their own success stories.
Categories include Emerging Technology, Innovator, Safety Innovations, Environmental Innovation, Export Achievement, Collaboration, Outstanding Skills Development Programme, Young Professional, Above and Beyond, Great Small Business, Great Large Business and Significant Contribution.
The awards will be open for entries until November 30th, with the finalists announced in the middle of January 2017. The event will be marked by a black tie ceremony at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on March 23rd 2017.
Ian Phillips, Director of SPE Aberdeen, will be chairing the awards. He said: "In the middle of a significant downturn, last year's awards were an encouraging boost for the offshore industry, and a reminder that innovation and collaboration are still a vital part of the current much-needed cost-reduction efforts."
If you'd like to go to the black tie event, tables of ten are available at a cost of £1,400 plus VAT, although you can also buy individual tickets if that's more appropriate.
