Our Principles of COSHH training is tailored to the particular substances and risks that your employees face and handle frequently.

The course syllabus focuses on:

Correct storage  Correct handling of the actual substances you use
Incorporating into your firm's specific health and safety policy and operating procedures

Various employees are likely to encounter hazardous substances to some extent. There are various substances which are hazardous to human health, ranging from minor irritants to potential killers, depending on both the type of substance and the exposure levels.

These substances can be:

  • Asbestos dust
  • Chemical ingredients
  • Cleaning products
  • Waste products (produced at the end of a process)

The sheer number of hazardous substances throughout the world means that organisations in different industries will face different hazards according to their manufacturing process, the products and services they provide. COSHH training should form part of your continuous health and safety training programme.
