Our bespoke Incident Management Team Training courses are built around your organisation’s emergency response plans and will incorporate site-specific risks and delivered as part of our overall emergency planning solutions.  

The course provides delegates with an understanding of the command structure within the site incident response plan and how this links in with emergency responder’s procedures and responsibilities. It will also cover best-practice incident management theory followed by company-specific scenarios and simulations based upon your site-specific risks.

Course Syllabus

Delegates attending the Incident Management Team Training course will be able to reinforce their understanding and knowledge of handling specific incident-based scenarios and incorporates the following syllabus:

 Human factors and respnse - why incidents occur  Management of incidents - what can assist in commanding & controlling an incident

The practical scenarios are designed to test your organisation’s emergency plans and uses role-plays to add realism and urgency.

Delivering the emergency response plan – when required to do so

Fully operational and workable emergency response plans may well meet your business requirements, however, it is equally important that your employees are fully trained in how to manage an incident and respond when required to do so. This will ensure that your organisation’s emergency plans are implemented and delivered.

Debriefing

Debriefing sessions follow any exercises and scenarios and allow our highly-skilled subject leads and emergency response specialists to identify gaps and learnings which can be integrated into the emergency plans, future training and overall process.

Purpose-built training facilities

This course can be delivered at our new and purpose-built Humber Emergency Planning Centre or alternatively in-situ at your site if suitable.
