1 Day GWO Sea Survival Course | Provides best practice marine survival trainingAchieve Your GWO Sea Survival Accreditation

This GWO Sea Survival training course has been designed to meet the basic competence and training requirements for all personnel within the renewables sector and on wind turbines. Our Sea Survival course will be delivered by following GWO trade association marine and sea survival training standards and will use a blended mix of theory and practical scenarios to provide best practice sea survival and marine survival training focused at the renewables sector.

Looking to work within the renewables sector or revalidate your existing GWO Sea Survival qualifications      

HFR Solutions CIC has attained the GWO renewables and global wind organisation training accreditations, therefore we can deliver the GWO Sea Survival training module as well as the five key GWO training facets for employees, contractors and technicians to achieve the recognised industry standards and qualifications for working within the offshore wind and renewables sectors or simple just revalidate an existing GWO Sea Survival training qualification.

Delegates need to demonstrate the following skills and the GWO Sea Survival module covers the following key elements;

 Knowledge of the dangers and symptoms related to drowning and hypothermia  Demonstrate safe transfer from the vessel to dock, vessel to foundation & vessel to vessel
 Demonstrate knowledge of the emergency & safety procedures on installations, vessels and wind turbine  Demonstsate recovery and first aid treatment of a "man overboard"
 Demonstrate individual and collective survival techniques at sea
