A chance to learn a new life skill

With 6,000 delegates having attended a Heartstart programme highlights how this initiative continues to be hugely successful. As a direct result, local community groups, supermarket workers, teachers and teaching assistants, a junior football group, members of a local walking group and Sikh temple as well as shoppers within a retail shopping centre have all benefited from attending.

John Armson, Emergency Services Manager, HFR Solutions CIC comments “The objective of the Heartstart programme has always been to provide as many people within our communities with simple skills that save lives. It really helps to engage with local communities, bringing people together from different backgrounds, in order to learn basic life support skills. This training has been successfully delivered to communities throughout the Humber region such as Beverley, Brigg, Crowle, Epworth, Scunthorpe and Winterton to name but a few.”
